Jorge de Figueiredo foi obrigado a provar a posse da terra da Adema em Ota. Esta terra tinha sido alvo de permuta em 1562, entre Jorge de Figueiredo e António Gomes de Carvalho, por uma terra chamada Rabo de Camelo, ambos localizados em Ota.
