A primeira referência a Isabel Mascarenhas, datada de 1549, surge na carta de confirmação do aforamento de um lugar de azeite em Alferrara que fez com o seu marido. A última referência data de 1551 e surge numa carta de sentença acerca da Quinta de Alferrara que possuía com o seu marido.
