Casado com Maria Rebela, esta irmã de Sebastiana Rebelo, casada com Simão de Miranda Henriques. Não teve filhos. Cavaleiro fidalgo da Casa d’el Rei, comendador da Ordem de Cristo e irmão da confraria da Misericórdia de Lisboa. Morador em Lisboa. A primeira referência a Fernão Cabral data de 1554 e surge na carta de compra que fez com a sua mulher de uma Quinta e várias propriedades em Chelas. A última referência, datada de 1575, encontra-se na descrição feita no “Inventário geral dos papéis…” de uma doação que fez com a sua mulher ao hospital dos incuráveis de Lisboa (fl. 34v). Institui capela na Misericórdia de Lisboa.
