As únicas referências a Catarina Anes, datadas entre 1486 e 1510, surgem no contexto da administração dos bens que herdou dos seus pais e da sua irmã, Maria Anes, incluindo, neste último caso, a administração da capela de Maria Anes e da capela do seu marido, bacharel João Gil, no Mosteiro do Carmo em Lisboa.
